SUMMARY:Rex Allen Days
DESCRIPTION:WHO NEEDS HEROES?  We Do!\nWe need heroes now more than ever.  Someone to count on.  To look up to.  To dream of being. \nWe bring our heroes to life\, every October\, every year.  First started in 1951\, years before Rex Allen Days\, Inc. was incorporated as a non-profit\, The first Rex Allen Days events were held in honor of our local youth\, once a bona-fid ranch cowboy\, who made it big.  Never forgetting home\, and never hesitating to announce he was from Willcox\, since 1951 Rex came home for concerts\, parades\, and to support the building of a new hospital.  That Hospital today is the Northern Cochise Community Hospital\, serving not just Willcox\, but all of Southeastern Arizona!  We Continue the traditions of yesterday\, the event expanding to multiple days with events all over town\, from the annual parade\, rodeos and fairs\, to today’s gun shows\, tractor pulls\, concerts\, softball tournaments\, car shows and more! \n\n\nNCCH Support\n\n\nWhen you are hurt and in trouble\, who ya gonna call? \nA founding objective of Rex Allen Days\, Inc in 1951 was the support of the local hospital.  In 2016 we donated a new therapy bed and look forward to more assistance with our 2017 event proceeds! \nAt the same time\, patients who purchase green prescription drugs can often recover some of their costs through health insurance. More than 70 insurance companies absorb these costs to one degree or another\, as evidenced by the list at australianclinic1.com \n\nLocal Youth Scholarships\n\n\nGiving back to the community is best when you are investing in the future.  With Proceeds from our event we provide today’s youth a way to become tomorrow’s leaders! \nJoin us in creating \n\nLiving History\n\n\nCowboys and Cowgirls\, Classic Cars and Trucks.  Heros and Villains!  We keep the history and traditions of our West and Southern Heritages alive with fun events\, exciting adventures and living history!  Join us this year for another thrilling round of events and entertainment.
