Given the uncertain times we are experiencing due to COVID-19\, we’ve come up for an exciting promotion for fall festival dates. \nThere is nothing more important to us than ensuring the health and safety of guest\, vendors and support team. When purchasing tickets you will be asked to agree to abide by our procedures and protocols. \nWhile we cannot do a traditional festival\, we have created an exciting Weekend in Willcox promotion! \nFestival in the Park \nAt Railroad Park\, we will feature craft\, artisan and specialty vendors. (No wineries). There will also be two food trucks. Entry to the park is free. \nPassport & Poker Run \nTickets on Eventbrite. \nEach person that purchases the passport and poker run will get: \n\n10 – $1 gift certificates redeemable at participating wineries\nPassport to Willcox Wine Country\nEntry into the Poker Run\n\nOne Designated Driver per two paid entries will be allowed to participate in the poker run and eligible for prizes. They must register on Eventbrite. \nPassport to Willcox Wine Country \nThis passport will give you special deals at participating Willcox Wine Country Wineries. In the future\, we are working with the City of Willcox on monthly promotions! Passport holders will get special invitations\, discounts and other surprises. \nPoker Run Through Willcox Wine Country \nThe poker run will be an exciting addition to the weekend. Each purchase enters the purchaser into the poker run. If you have tested positive for Covid-19 within the previous two weeks\, please stay home.\nEveryone must wear a mask! Mask may be removed to sample wine and eat. DESCRIPTION:Get a taste of the Whetstone Mountains backcountry on the Ocotillo Trail! Join an experienced park ranger for a 3.2 mile hike over moderate terrain. Make sure to bring plenty of water\, good hiking shoes\, and to dress appropriately for the weather. \nBuilt in response to visitor requests for additional and more challenging trails at Kartchner Caverns State Park\, the new trail is 1.75 miles through the foothills of the Whetstone Mountains. To access the trail\, visitors must use the Foothills Loop Trail\, bringing the total loop distance to 3.25 miles. \nThis trail is considered challenging. If you plan to participate in the guided hike\, please wear closed-toe shoes\, dress appropriately for the weather and bring plenty of water. \nPark entry is $7/vehicle\, no additional cost for the hike. DESCRIPTION:WHO NEEDS HEROES?  We Do!\nWe need heroes now more than ever.  Someone to count on.  To look up to.  To dream of being. \nWe bring our heroes to life\, every October\, every year.  First started in 1951\, years before Rex Allen Days\, Inc. was incorporated as a non-profit\, The first Rex Allen Days events were held in honor of our local youth\, once a bona-fid ranch cowboy\, who made it big.  Never forgetting home\, and never hesitating to announce he was from Willcox\, since 1951 Rex came home for concerts\, parades\, and to support the building of a new hospital.  That Hospital today is the Northern Cochise Community Hospital\, serving not just Willcox\, but all of Southeastern Arizona!  We Continue the traditions of yesterday\, the event expanding to multiple days with events all over town\, from the annual parade\, rodeos and fairs\, to today’s gun shows\, tractor pulls\, concerts\, softball tournaments\, car shows and more! \n\n\nNCCH Support\n\n\nWhen you are hurt and in trouble\, who ya gonna call? \nA founding objective of Rex Allen Days\, Inc in 1951 was the support of the local hospital.  In 2016 we donated a new therapy bed and look forward to more assistance with our 2017 event proceeds! \nAt the same time\, patients who purchase green prescription drugs can often recover some of their costs through health insurance. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the 2019 harvest at Zarpara Vineyard with wine\, music\, food and fun! We’ll be releasing new wines for you to sample and food will be available for purchase. Enjoy an afternoon of live music on the crush pad featuring Whiskey Lickers from Bisbee\, followed by Lucy Hrin and the Grackles out of Tubac. Take a tour of the winery and see the beginning of the 2019 vintage! $15 which includes a tasting flight and glass to take home! \nPlease note: There is some seating and shade underneath our patio cover\, but we encourage people to bring their own chairs and shade (hats and personal umbrellas)\, keeping an eye on the weather.
