Visit Zarpara Vineyard for a relaxing wine tasting among the vines. The vineyard is tucked under the picturesque Dos Cabezas Mountains just a few miles south of Willcox. Rhona and Mark docked their ship here in the sky island country of southeastern Arizona and found an amazing place where they could spend every day together and create a destination for sharing their wine.

Rhona and Mark love European-style wines! Especially those found along the Mediterranean. So quite naturally, dry earthy reds are the specialty at Zarpara. You’ll find Spanish, French, and Italian varietals on the menu, as well as some tantalizing blends. Zarpara also pours one or two delectably crisp whites, a wonderfully delicate dry rosé (while it lasts!), and sometimes a surprise like the yumstrous port-style dessert rosé. All Zarpara wines are grown and produced right there at the vineyard. Made with Arizona sunshine, of course!

The tasting room and winery are right there at the vineyard. Rhona or Mark are usually pouring wine in the tasting room, so chances are you get to visit with the owners themselves. While you are there, ask for a tour of the winery, or take a stroll in the vineyard. And if it’s a nice day, bring a picnic along to enjoy with a bottle of Zarpara wine on their outdoor terrace.
