Soaring Wines

Soaring Wines landed in Willcox, Arizona, in 2019 taking over what once was a Kitewing airfield and home to the Sky Gypsies, a band of aero-trekking sport flyers who soar the skies, exploring the remote areas of New Mexico and southeast Arizona.

Located on 40 acres in the Willcox Bench area, Arizona’s premier wine growing region, Soaring Wines has seven acres of planted grapevines. The vineyard’s first grape harvest in 2022 included Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Mourvedre, Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Viognier.

Its first award winning wines consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Italian Style Red Wine Blend, Rhone Style Red Wine Blend, Petite Sirah, Grenache Rosé and Viognier were released in January

Future plans include the launch of additional delicious wines in the summer of 2023 and 2024 and the creation of a unique tasting experience with the conversion of the vineyard aircraft hanger into a tasting room.
