Vino Stache

Vino Stache Winery is a boutique winery owned by Brooke Lowry Ide located in Elgin, Arizona. Brooke sources her grapes from growers in the southern Arizona AVAs of Sonoita and Willcox. Her primary focus is around making red and orange style wines with the occasional rose and port. Her facility is currently at about a 800 case production each year and she sells in small bottleshops and resturants in Flagstaff, Jerome, Sedona, Phoenix Metro area, Tucson and Sonoita. Her wines are also available for purchase in her tasting room in Elgin, AZ.

Brooke grew up in Phoenix and played volleyball at Saint Mary’s College of California before competing overseas and living abroad in Spain. There, a seed was planted by her teammates and community a love of Spanish food and wine culture. Upon returning to the states, she spent the next few years building her career in digital marketing and advertising. In 2014. longing for a slower way of life and to work with her hands and Mother Nature, she took a leap of faith and quit work to go back to school and get her degree in Viticulture and Enology from the Southwest Wine Center at Yavapai College. What she loved about Spain she wanted to recreate in Arizona. Upon completed the program, she worked as a cellar rat for Merkin Vineyards / Caduceus Cellars for 3 years and the 2018 harvest for Kent Callaghan of Callaghan Vineyards. In 2019 Brooke and her husband David built their winery in Elgin, AZ and started production. As a native Arizonan, Brooke takes great pride in making wines from the soils of her home state.
